I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from The College of St. Scholastica, where I graduated in 2024. My career in mental health began in 2018 as a registered nurse, where I provided inpatient care to individuals experiencing acute psychiatric distress. This foundation shaped my commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
As a PMHNP, my experience spans a variety of settings, including outpatient services, residential crisis bed programs, and community-based care through Assertive Community Treatment, where I supported clients directly in their homes. I have worked with individuals across the lifespan and have treated a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia, and PTSD. While much of my practice has focused on medication management for adults, I also have experience working with children and adolescents.
I am deeply passionate about expanding access to mental health care and addressing the ongoing stigma and marginalization faced by those with psychiatric conditions. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel heard and respected. My approach is collaborative, with a focus on developing mutually agreed-upon, safe, and effective treatment plans tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals.
